Before we begin to talk about the stomach's acidity, we have
to spend some time discussing how it is incorporated into the digestion
process. Many people believe that once you consume a meal, it will fall
into a stomach acid. It's broken down, and then moves through the small
intestinal tract, where it will get nutrients removed and finally into the
colon, where it is able to pass through the bodyIf you're lucky. Not quite.
The way nature intended it is to eat enzyme-rich foods and
chew food thoroughly. If you do that your food would go into the stomach
by digestive enzymes. These enzymes later "predigest" your food

After this time in "pre-digestion" are
hydrochloric acid and pepsin introduced. The acid neutralizes all the
food-based enzymes but it starts its own job of breaking down what's leftover
from the food in conjunction with the acid-generated enzyme pepsin. The
nutrient-rich food concentrate enters the small intestinal tract. Once the
concentrate is in the small intestinal tract, the acid is neutralized, and the
pancreas is able to reintroduce digestive enzymes into the process. After
digestion is complete, nutrients are released through the intestinal wall
before being absorbed into the bloodstream.
It's the way nature intended for us to do. However, the
majority of us don't lead our lives the way the way nature was meant to!
Cooking and processing destroy enzymes found in food
items. (Any continuous heat that is between 1180-1290 F eliminates nearly
every enzyme.) This means that for the majority of us the food we eat is
very enzyme-deficient. The food is then left for an hour, looking like an
enormous lump and very little pre-digestion takes place. This causes the
body to produce massive amounts of stomach acid in order to
compensate. While it is not successful in this effort (much of the meal
goes into the small intestine undigested) There are two main effects.
1. Too much stomach acid.
2. A lack of stomach acid.
TOO MUCH STOMACH ACID
It's obvious. To compensate the lack of enzymes present
in food we eat, our stomachs produce an excessive amount of stomach acid in
order to make up for the lack of enzymes, resulting in acid
digestion. Acupuncture with antacids, or purple pills does not actually
resolve the problem and only eliminates an underlying cause. However,
ultimately they pass on even larger quantities of food that's not digested into
the intestinal tract , where it causes gas, bloating and bad digestion, and
chronic digestive disorders and the pancreas being blown out, which attempts to
make up for the loss by producing massive amounts of digestive enzymes that are
for usage in the small intestine. This is made worse by beverages and food
items like the alcohol (especially beer) and high-sugar foods as well as
caffeinated drinks (coffee or tea.) which can increase acid production.
